Catalonia is part of the European Valley to promote green hydrogen
- The European Hydrogen Valleys Partnership is part of the S3 Industrial Modernization platform, promoted by the European Commission and of which Catalonia is part.
- The association addresses global warming to minimize its effects on society and ecosystems by promoting the production of green hydrogen and its use in industry, mobility and power generation.
- The main objectives of the S3 platform Hydrogen Valleys are:

Develop the technological readiness and commercial availability of fuel cell applications.

Overcome the lack of access to information and experience between European regions.

Strengthen the value chain of hydrogen technologies and in particular of fuel cells, through interregional cooperation.

Contribute to the decarbonisation of the EU economy.

Boost the production of green hydrogen.

To become an active actor in the formulation of EU policies in relation to hydrogen.
